Flash Dance Co.
For 20 years, Stacey Gonder and her team at Flash Design Company have devoted their talents to designing and manufacturing the very best in custom dance, and performance costumes. What started off as a one-woman operation has now turned into a team of experienced, passionate professionals, with the uncanny ability to tell stories through clothing!
Stacey’s love for design began with her love of dance. After dancing professionally at the beginning of her career, Stacey made the decision to go back to school to study costume design at the International Academy of Design. The brand Flash Design Company came to life in 2001, after graduating with her diploma in Costume Design Studies. The brand began while she was teaching and adjudicating competitive dance. She knew that there was more that she could give back to the dance world, so she decided to design and construct costumes for her: students, fellow teachers, and choreographers alike. What sets Stacey apart from other designers is her unique connection to the dance industry. Her in-depth knowledge of dance, and fashion forward design, has propelled Flash Design Company into one of the most popular costume design companies in Canada.
